Gardening Workshops for Girls
Girls Nature Workshops
Encourage young girls to re-connect with nature and nurture future garden club members.
Classes are open to the children of members and the public. Class curriculum is developed and led by FWGC members & BRIT staff.
Classes are held at Fort Worth Botanic Garden/BRIT
Saturdays from 1:00 –2:30 p.m. and are limited to 20 girls.
The $10.00 registration covers all materials & snacks.

ANCIENT ART OF BONSAI
Fort Worth Botanic Garden – Conservation Greenhouse/Japanese Garden
“Breathing Sculpture”
Learn about the centuries old art of creating and nurturing a Bonsai Tree. Girls will plant and wire a tree seedling to begin training the seedling into a bonsai.
&
Visit the Japanese Garden to feed Koi and experience “forest bathing.”
