All Materials Supplied
Ever wondered what it takes to create a winning Botanical Arts entry in a Flower Show competition? Then this workshop is for you! We’ll cover how to create a design from idea phase to finish, culminating in a hands-on project where you will make a small wearable brooch from organic materials. All materials for this workshop will be supplied at no charge.
Sign up early to reserve your spot! In the workshop we’ll cover inspiration for the Fort Worth Garden Club “Western Roots/Modern Flair” Flower Show in April, lists and tips for supplies including how to scavenge for materials in your own backyard, explanation of the differences in Floral Design vs. Botanical Arts entries, and what the judges are looking for. You’ll leave with a Botanical Arts project you’ve handcrafted yourself! Once the class is filled, anyone on the waitlist is still welcome to come “audit” the course to get inspiration and find out just what Botanical Arts is all about.
