The Fort Worth Garden Club was organized in 1926, with the expressed purpose to cultivate a broader knowledge of gardening, horticulture and design, to advocate for the protection of the environment, and to support the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

Fort Worth Garden Club, Inc. awards an annual $1,000 scholarship to a college-level junior or above, payable to the scholar’s college, university or graduate program. The application deadline is April 30th for a scholarship given for the following fall semester.  -Learn More

Celebrating Arbor Day

Celebrate Texas Arbor Day, the first Friday in November, and nominate an individual, group, organization, or government entity to receive Fort Worth Garden Club’s Mary Louise Michie Aboreal Award of Excellence. Nominees should exemplify a long-term commitment to trees through tree planting, care, stewardship, and attention to sustainability; education and awareness of the importance of trees; or other efforts that champion a better urban forest by building community partnerships or improving public policy. Projects must take place in the City of Fort Worth for its benefit.
